The boat, in its first version, will have a carbon glass sandwich construction with a Full carbon deck that allows you to combine the stiffness of carbon with the natural qualities of vibration absorption (and therefore of the
noise). A full carbon model for speed enthusiasts is already in the works. The mast, strictly in carbon, will carry a generous sail plan.
The drift blade, made with a double Weldox structure and the numerically controlled milled lead bulb will guarantee the solidity and robustness necessary to withstand the loads given by the large sail plan.
The carbon rudder with 7-bar autoclave-forged axle studied and designed with cutting-edge technologies allows impressive control even when the boat heels or subjected to large aerodynamic loads,
always keeping clear the attention paid to the issue of safety, central both at the design and construction level.
The water lines have been designed with the intention of bringing the qualities of speed and seaworthiness, to which the shipyard's customers are accustomed, to a new level. The hull is of race derivation with a slightly reverse bow, as on the OR65 and has always been a stylistic feature of the shipyard. The maximum beam shifted towards the stern, the powerful hull and the important righting moment allow this boat to aspire to compete with pure racers. The draft of 3.35m was judged to be the best compromise between performance and access to the main Mediterranean ports.
The large garage, a record in its category and almost at the level of that of an 80-footer, is designed to transversely contain a 3-meter inflated tender!!
The cockpit has the classic Mediterranean style with ample seating and predisposition for outdoor boat living. The deckhouse features an automotive-derived design with large fenders that hide the exit inside
sheets that can be easily used by one person through the 4 electric winches. The large front window allows, from the dinette, to have a complete view of the deck, eliminating the internal/external separation. A boat
to be experienced at 360 °.
There are several layouts under consideration for this project, it certainly won't be the usual sailboat. The Raised Saloon type allows greater freedom in the layout of the rooms and guarantees better access to all the systems for
maintenance. This allowed Lucio Micheletti to design a boat with spaces unthinkable for this category. The Main Saloon, large and airy, makes you think you are on a 70-footer. The classic 3 cabins 3 bathrooms layout is flanked by the 4 cabins 4 bathrooms option which allows you to have a totally independent twin for crew or younger children.
The peculiarity of this line is that it will be widely customizable, the entire ICE Yachts technical office and the Micheletti + Partners studio will collaborate in the creation of the ideal boat for each owner.
